The contents in this book are compiled from the Chapter 1,2 & 3 of the book Immortal Light. Chapter 1 Dazzling Play of the Lord and Chapter 3 Renouncing Home and Refugee Camp of Bengal and Calcutta Experiences are from the unreleased Satsangs given during the Grace of the Guru Retreat at Sacred Mountain Ashram in June 1997.
Chapter 2 In His Own Hand In July 2000 when Gurudeva's illness became serious, He started writing this "biography" as He called it. For about six to eight weeks, He wrote several hours daily until He had completed ninety- two pages by hand, which comprise this chapter.
Although Gurudeva normally had all recordings of His personal life erased directly after they were recorded, in June 1997, He gave what became a very unusual retreat at Sacred Mountain Ashram, later titled Grace of the Guru Retreat. It was a rare blessing during those days that He spoke of His personal sadhana and experiences in the Himalayas and other parts of India.
