In folk tales, a sage often appears homeless, wearing ragged clothes and funny shoes.

But this is not a tale. This is about a Real sage. Most real sages look very much like ordinary people. They live in ordinary homes and work in ordinary jobs. Only, they do things extraordinarily.

In these short stories, an attempt has been made to capture the resplendence of a real sage- Swami Tejomayananda.

As head of Chimneys Mission, he is much sought after. Yet in his everyday interactions, Guruji is at perfect ease with his surroundings. The depth of his personality is vividly seen in his wisdom, wit and simplicity.

These 73 stories have been selected from over 600 that were gathered from devotees of Chinmaya Mission around the world, to be presented to Guruji in this surprise book, as a token of have appreciation.

Each of these stories is true, although some editing was necessary in exercising in exercising creative license.

The explanation at the end of each story is sourced from the work of Masters, namely, Swami Chinmayananda (Founder, Chinmaya Mission), Swami Tejomayanada (President Divine Life Society) and Swami TeJomayananda (Head, Chinmaya Mission). Our humble salutation and thanks to them.
