Hence, it is impossible to have a uni-dimensional point of view on Indian culture or art. Multiculturalism and diversity of ideas are inherent part of India's heritage as this part of the world is perhaps the largest multi cultural continent. The Akademi has always been ambitious to understand the diverse modern visual thinking practices prevalent in the field of art so that the future researchers of art can reach a certain conclusion about the pulses of Indian culture from the exhibits in its National Exhibition of Art.
