This book is quite different from my other cook books. "100 Refreshing Juices" contain vegetable juice and fruit juice combinations. To make the drink tasty I have used ginger, salt, black pepper, white pepper, cumin cardamom, nutmeg, honey etc., suitably. These drinks are consumed mainly for health reasons do not give much importance for the taste alone. As far as possible I have given the combinations to make the drink tasty. Vegetable Juices may not be tasty like fruit juices. But once you start taking you will develop a liking for it. Read the information given in the first few pages before you start using this book. Make this book as a guidance for preparing mocktails and you can create more combinations of your own. As you all aware "Prevention is better than cure" - drink one or two cups of fresh juice a day from younger age to help develop more resisting power and avoid health disorders. The appreciation that you have given to me for my earlier books has encouraged me to extend the horizons of my cook books to include more health related information. I thank R.
