Mainak Bhoumik, hailing from the Murshidabad district of West Bengal. He completed his graduation in Chemistry Hons from the University of Kalyani in 2017.
From a young age, Mainak harbored a deep interest in art and crafts. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, he couldn't attend an art college. However, he didn't lose hope and continued his artistic journey after graduating, under the mentorship of artist Kartick Pal.
Mainak primarily focuses on capturing the beauty of nature and places with historical significance in his artwork. Many of his creations are inspired by the rich historical heritage of Murshidabad. He possesses a versatile skill set, working with various mediums such as oil, watercolor, charcoal, acrylic, pencil, and pastels.
Mainak Bhoumik was a proud member of the eminent artist group known as "Papilio Painters." He actively participated in numerous exhibitions at both the district and international levels, showcasing his artistic talent to a wider audience.
