This artistic rendition of Vishnu's Sheshashayi form is a later development in Vaishnava shrines and was more popular in southern India than in northern and eastern India. Vishnu is the Hindu trinity's ultimate deity, with the responsibility of protecting people and restoring order to the universe. The dark blue sky and the continual waves generated in the lake below have been given remarkable space by the watercolour painting by Kailash Raj. It is a versatile and in-depth art that emphasises every detail with the greatest elegance and richness.

When the universe dissolved into the primordial waters at the end of time, Lord Vishnu laid out in Yoganidra on Sesa (his snake), which is constructed like a couch, with the five hoods creating an umbrella over him. According to Hindu mythology. Vishnu is dressed in a beautiful yellow dhoti with attractive zari and stones work. He is ornamented in priceless jewels all over him to suit his thickly notched South Indian styled crown. The lotus is emerging from his navel as Brahma, the creator sits on it. While, Laksmi, the consort of Vishnu is messaging his feet. He is adorned in jewellery and costume hugs her bodice. Each enterprise is painted with subtle intricacy and accentuated beauty, evoking the popular art style of the painting that may have been borrowed from Middle Age and Gond painting.
