Animals in mythology have intelligence of their own. They have their own groups as well as their own enmities. Sometimes, they come into contact with people; sometimes they live in a world of their own. Some, like lions and crocodiles, are huge and ferocious, and some puny, like rabbits or monkeys. But, with their intelligence, it is the smaller animals who come on the top. The main lesson from these stories is: Buddhiryasya balam tasya nirbuddhestu kuto balam? Strength belongs to the intelligent. Where from will the stupid find strength?
